Since last blog forgot to record that all of the fencing has been re-instated in Burke Park.
Two slides, the first and the last give a real sense of the river park being created for the Greenway Towpath.
The rest show the work to date, while today, this afternoon the work was ongoing with workers continuing where they left last week, extending the river bank and finishing the wall.
Weather permitting and the bank being accessible I will hare down Carrick way tomorrow to view the work there and whether the repair at Poulakerry is underway, and also near Dove Hill where the tarmac was split open in one place and bumped up over a stretch of about twenty metres.
Other than that the surface all the way back to Carrick was intact - a job well done.
