Thumbs up for Denis Burke Park, in construction above, and now finished and OPEN to the public and especially open to CHILDREN of all ages and sizes.
Families will find a space there for play for their children where they the parents can sit, chat, observe and encourage. There's time and space for a bite afterwards at the tables, with bins for the rubbish.
So what's keeping you?Get down there and make the most of the park.
To wind down after why not take a stroll through the woodland inside the boundary wall - who knows you might see a squirrel!
A word in your ear to the effect that the work on the repair to the wall at the Rock is to be undertaken shortly.
You may recall the wall collapse occurred as a result of a localised deluge mid-November last. This is great news for all concerned not least road users, locals and commuters. Will keep you informed.
Walked to the Rock this morning on what was an overcast but brisk day to record in photo something of what's showing since my last visit and blog weeks and weeks ago. There was much to see and hear - the slideshow is a taster.
